A Mutual Fund is a portfolio of listed securities that belongs to a group of investors. It is created by pooling the capital contributions of a certain number of individual investors, and using these funds to invest in assets with pre-established characteristics.

Interbolsa offers financial and non-financial, open- or closed-end, money market, growth and income funds. These mutual funds are managed by Interbolsa Sociedad Administradora de Fondos de Inversión, authorized by the Costa Rican Securities and Exchange Commission (SUGEVAL, for its acronym in Spanish) on August 16, 1995, through session 195-95. Currently it services 1,306 clients.

Interbolsa Sociedad Administradora de Fondos de Inversión manages total net assets of US$143 million, of which US$128 million correspond to the net assets managed by the Fondos de Inversión Inmobiliario (Real Estate Funds), leading the way in the Costa Rican real estate mutual fund market.

All of Interbolsa's Mutual Funds have an ScrAA rating assigned by the Sociedad Calificadora de Riesgo Centroamericana S.A.
